Our Mission

Camden County Alzheimer’s Project is dedicated to providing community-based support, services, and educational opportunities for those living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, their family caregivers, and professionals; and supporting on the national level, research for better treatment and a cure.

Thank you!

The 2023 WALK collected $27,000. The majority of the funds stay in Camden County, helping local families. Donations for Research last went to Bright Focus Foundation, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, Lorenzo’s House, and Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.

Through other fundraising events such ast the Fourth of July “Walk Your Butt Off’ sale of Hog N Bones pork butts, plus the generosity of sponsors and grants, we have been able to add the Friends Club for persons with memory loss and their caregivers, library Memory Corners, education events, Alzheimer’s books given for free.

And we are not done….

Donations are welcome year-round, with our WALK donations accepted and counted, as designated, through December. You can make a donation online or mailed to 1100 Dilworth St., St. Marys, GA 31558. Feel free to contact us with any questions. Remember to follow us on Facebook at Camden County Alzheimer’s Project for info about future events!
